Bismarck Public Schools is accepting applications for a Special Education Teacher.  We currently have three openings for the 2021-22 school year.

This position is responsible for providing assessment and direct service to students in special education as well as completing all the necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:

Valid North Dakota teaching license in special education.

Preferences:

General Education license with Special Education license
Experience in school setting
Experience working with individuals with disabilities; technology skills to implement electronic IEPs and incorporate into instruction; knowledge of general education curriculum.

External candidates are allowed to bring in up to 12 years of contracted K – 12 teaching experience.

New Teacher Orientation for all staff new to Bismarck Schools will be held in early August.  Dates TBD.
