Job Title: K–6 School Counselor

Location: Winnebago Public Schools, Winnebago Indian Reservation, Northeast Nebraska (25 miles south of Sioux City, IA; 70 miles north of Omaha, NE on Highway 77)

School Year: 2026–2027

Employment Start Date: On or about August 1, 2026

Winnebago Public Schools is seeking a qualified K–6 School Counselor to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of students in kindergarten through grade 6. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain the appropriate Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) certification.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $48,330 – $89,944 (based on education and experience, per 2025–2026 negotiated contract)
Sign-On Bonus: $12,000, paid in 3 equal installments over 3 years
