Join our vibrant school system dedicated to educational excellence!  We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Education Leader to join our team and make a significant impact in the lives of young children and families.  The ideal candidate will have experience leading Early Head Start & Head Start Centers within Native American communities.

 

Seeking an outstanding School Leader that will:

  • Lead the implementation of culturally relevant early childhood curricula that reflect Native American traditions and values.
  • Lead and mentor a team of dedicated staff to ensure high quality teaching practices and professional growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with families and the community to support children’s holistic development.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Early Childhood Education Center, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children.   Strong background in managing staff and budgets are needed.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment and evaluations to monitor program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance resources and opportunities for the children and families.
  • Leverage strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Apply their experience in working in Native American Communities or diverse communities.
  • Implement excellent communication, collaboration, and follow through skills.

 

What you bring:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Development, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership or a closely related field. Applicants with a Master’s degree in a “closely related field” must have a minimum of 18 credit hours in Early Childhood or Childhood Development from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in Head Start, Child Care, Early Elementary Grades or closely related program.
  • Four (4) years progressively responsible fulltime work experience supervising, managing, and overseeing staff/administrative responsibilities for a related program is required.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Master’s degree in Education Administration or Early Childhood Education Administration.
